Our Booking and Refund Policy

In response to changing marketplace conditions, we are committed to ensuring our guests experience flexibility during these challenging times. We are implementing new policies:

• Booking: A deposit is required to secure your reservation dates for a Costa Rica Pickleball Getaway. Payment is due in full 45 days prior to arrival. Deposits and balance payments made are non-refundable, however are fully transferable within 2 years of the original reservation date.

• Full Refund: A full refund of the deposit and/or balance payment will be refunded due to any uncontrollable government issued travel restrictions related to COVID-19 (coronavirus).

• Cancellation: You may cancel for any reason, and we will retain the deposit and/or balance payment You will have 2 full years (24 months) to rebook at the same rate.

FLIGHTS

Flights are not included in price.

TEXAS offers budget friendly travel to Costa Rica. Look for Flights out of Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston. If you book months in advance you can obtain flights ranging from $300-$700 per person.

The same can be said for pickleball players living in GEORGIA, NORTH CAROLINA and FLORIDA.

I use Google Flights to find flights and track prices. You can be notified when prices change.

Be sure to research Southwest Airlines, as they have great prices also.

COSTA RICA ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND COVID-19

I will inform you on the U.S. and Costa Rica entry requirements. For now, here are some basic requirements:

1. Must have a passport valid for 3 months after you scheduled flight back to the U.S.

2. Must have proof of flight back to the U.S.

3. You do not have to be vaccinated to enter or leave the U.S. or Costa Rica.

4. Travel Insurance is recommended

5. Unvaccinated will need to be tested before boarding flight to the U.S..

6. If vaccinated, some form of proof will be required to travel.

May 13, 2021 - “Highly Recommend”

I would highly recommend JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort. The property is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are first class, views are amazing and the endless pool overlooking the beach was incredible. The staff was so accommodating and kind. I look forward to another stay in the future.

May 9, 2021 - “All inclusive unique property in Costa Rica…

We really enjoyed this property in Costa Rica. This is the third Marriott owned luxury property we have stayed in outside of San Jose. What makes the JW Marriott Guanacaste so unique (I understand it sits on 10,000 acres?) is how many all inclusive activities are offered at this hotel. Except for zip-lining (which is only 35K away), they have it all. We enjoyed, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, tide-pools, literally miles of sandy beaches, great golf course, horse back riding, mountain biking (including marked trails and plenty of loaner bikes), jogging trails, full gym, hiking nature trails (with guides), monkeys, iguanas, seven restaurants, movie night, local cultural artists, and a fantastic, kind, staff. On property Clinica for required COVID testing to return to USA.

April 27, 2021 - “Superb”

Had such a lovely time. The rooms, pool, food, service and staff were above and beyond. I would go back for a week and just walk the beach and relax. We had no issues. It was a seamless stay. Nice and quiet.
